As tough as it is, the tips to acknowledge your pain is to face them, so that you can get over them. Sometimes the pain is buried so deep inside us. We might want to get over the pain to relieve anxiety and depression but first we need to acknowledge it.
When you are in a constant state of anxiety it is hard to focus, sleeping becomes a problem and your enjoyment for life drops so low what you feel depressed.
The more you suppress your feelings and emotions the more they eat away at you. Some people turn to medication, others to self help and others stay in denial.
The first step to overcoming your pain is to recognise that you have pain, you have been through trauma, you have lived. Stop avoiding it and face it.
Find help in a therapist or friend. There is plenty of help out there and talking about it is healthy. You will have good times again and even better times when you can get over your past pain.
There is always a lesson from every experience you go through. Find the lesson or you will repeat the pain until you can learn from it. If you keep doing the same thing expecting a different you will go mad, learn so that you can move on.
Life is a journey, not a destination. Imagine a holiday that you have booked to go on in 4 weeks. You will spend the next few weeks getting excited and imagining all the fun things you are going to do. During the holiday you are probably going to start planning your next holiday. Try and enjoy the moment you are currently in instead of always wishing to be somewhere else.
We hope you enjoyed these tips to acknowledge your pain, keep going, keep growing and keep learning.
